I just purchased an old RB-67 Mamyia and need to replace the foam seam/padding that is on the mirror frame. This padding dampens the mirror slap when the shutter is released. The foam that was on it has turned to a black icky mess! Anyone out there dealt with this before? I picked up some Velcro with the idea of using the side with the soft material for a replacement but want to see if there is a better solution.
