Try Home Depot (or like place) and check out the bathroom drawer pulls.  Another option (not brass) is to turn your own knobs out of the same wood you are using for the camera body.

I'm making a wood 4x5 field camera and I can't seem to be able to find knurled brass knobs w/ a threaded hole. There are alot of plastic ones but their a bit ugly. Any suggestions?
