I've seen those - a collaboration - as the site says. My interest in the Silvestri was purely a technical one - starting from scratch and building a complete system save the backs and lenses. They are beautifully done, Italian design, and appear to be very well made. Also, they appear to be very expensive. The thought crossed my mind that the Silvestri is what the Graflex XL should have been when it grew up. In any event, the Silvestri represents another point of departure - a thin plate carring a lens (cone) and back. Now where did I stash that sheet of Titanium?
