Mole-Richardson.com sells Black Duvateen for about $5-$6 a yard 54" wide.
It's heavy black cotton fabric--a little too heavy for bellows IMHO. It is
lighttight.
It's coated with a fire retardant as required by fire code. Being a one man
studio I first run it through the washing machine to remove it.
I've never seen anything even close to it in a fabric store.
I put it over windows to block out sunlight. If it works in Southern
California it is definitely light tight.
