Hi again I think I have found the info I need. There's a picture of a Super Angulon from above, on a Plaubel 69W Proshift on page 81 of Michael Freeman's book " The Medium Format Manual", and it's obvious that wide open at f/5.6, this lens has a great depth of field.
For my immediate purposes - photographing trees and buildings, I don't need to focus this lens any more than what it provides for already, and I can also build in shift movements in one direction (that's all I need) very easily by following the lead of Claudio Bottari and his Walnut camera at http://digilander.iol.it/clabo/ Bob Hutchinson also is able to use these lenses in a very creative way - see http://paq.net/paqpro/ Cheers, Brian Swale ---------------------------------------------------------- Brian Swale e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] 140 Panorama Road URL = http://www.caverock.net.nz/~bj/ Christchurch 8008 New Zealand tel. +64 3 326-7447 Computer protected by AVG Anti-virus system http://www.grisoft.com This program is free, easy to obtain, easy to install and update. _______________________________________________ Cameramakers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://rmp.opusis.com/mailman/listinfo/cameramakers
