I find it frustrating that no satisfactory viewer seems to be available for medium format (6x6) slides. Existing viewers either have a low magnification lens or require one-eyed viewing.
Has anyone out there seen a Realorama from the company that made the Realist stereo camera? It offered two eyed viewing of 35mm slides using simply a concave mirror of FL apprximately 100mm (radius 200mm). (These figures are estimates and I assume that the mirror is spherical). The clarity of lensless viewing is stunning. I would like to try and make a similar viewer for mf slides and figure by scaling up that I need a rectangular piece of concave spherical mirror (first surface) about 200 x 100mm, and with a radius of curvature 200mm. Does anyone know of a likely source? Alternatively, does such a viewer already exist?
