A good place to start would be getting the patents for Cirkut type cameras.
Patent 780,382. D.A. Reavill Panoramic Camera 1904 Patent 780,406 F.W. Brehm Panoramic Cameras 1904 Patent 776,403. W.J. Johnston Panoramic Camera 1904 These patents offer detailed information on construction and description of parts. Although these are not called Cirkut Cameras they resemble them enough that the above gentlemen obviously had something to do with their initial design. If you want to build a camera based on cirkut camera's I have a set of drawings for a camera that I built based on cirkut camera design for 120/220 film. Hope this has been helpful.
