I used black cordura for the outer layer of a bellows last year; nice and durable, but it proved stiff, making for a somewhat bulky and inflexible bellows. I don't remember what weight it was, I'm afraid. Easy to work with, however: I may try to find a lighter weight cordura (with a sample of the old stuff in hand) next time I build a bellows.
