No one has posted anything lately. So I thought I'd throw sumthin up on the wall and see if it sticks.
Tablesaw I just installed an expensive Incra fence on my tablesaw. Accuracy to 1/1000 of an inch --which is a bit silly for wood which can expand and contract 2-5 percent or more. I needed an intermediate standard for my Sinar 4x5f so I could use two bellows. Prior to the Incra I made my own Sinar standard using Baltic Birch Ply and my old Bessemer (knock-off) fence. Worked OK, but not precise. I couldn't be accurate enough and Baltic Birch which is terrific plywood was not up to the task. With the Incra fence and maple however I was able to fairly quickly rip down a molding profile which included the little lip that fits into a groove on the Sinar bellows mounting. It was as advertised like turning your tablesaw (in my case a budget General Table saw) into a milling machine. _______________________________________________ Cameramakers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://rmp.opusis.com/mailman/listinfo/cameramakers
