I believe that was a "return to factory" item. I have the issues of The
Camera Craftsman that describe how it was supposed to work, if that's any
help to you (you can't fix it if you don't know how it was supposed to
work).

That was the gizmo to die for in home shops back in the 70's! I drooled over
the ads, but had to settle for a Synch Module and an oscilloscope, later
supplemented by a FocalTrak digital tester (yeah, I'm one of the lucky slobs
that managed to get a working unit). So you could sell that Digitest 14 to
me real cheap, he, he.  :)

So what's it doing / not doing??? Did you get the owner's manual??? The
"Curtain Travel Time" masks???
