I have read somewhere about others' experience using acrylic sheet for a ground glass substitute, but don't remember where. Anyone here have any comments on this, and does anyone remember what enhancement some have done by drilling a hole in the center and overlaying a second viewing device? I thought it was something other than a fresnel lens, maybe a clear piece. What purpose does a Fresnel lens serve with respect to a ground glass, where does it go, and is there a diopter associated with the Fresnel lens?
