Short answer is NO! Especially if you have to ask such a question. :-) 

Try this:

Tear apart junked (that's over two years old!) computer printer, scanner,
copy machine, etc - loads of gears for free.

Hobby shops have gobs of gears of all sizes.

There are also many cheap toys with gear motors such as RC vehicles. Radio Shack
