Hello::

I told of a Graflex 'something' Graphic saved from being discarded. Looks
like I missed the "good old days" . there had also been a Polaroid MP-4
given away.

I discovered a box today and verified it's disposition - lot's of odd
items...a color TV camera with zoom lens, several bottles of 3M 028
microfilm fix (more on this later), a pair of Honeywell strobes, a large
reflector photoflood lamp, a 3M 222 transmission densitometer (ooooh...) and
some heavy stuff in the bottom I haven't excavated yet.

MSDS sheet for the 028 Fix says:
75-85% water
7-12% Sodium Thiocyanate
5-10% Sodium Thiosulfate
<1.0% Sodium Sulfite
<0.2% Potassium Chloride
pH 9-10

Supposed to be used by 1997. White plastic bottles (#2 HDPE?)

Does anyone recognize this chemistry as usable for anything and what happens
when it gets old?

Thank you.

Murray
