I have modified the front standard of Century Graphics for Swing. Slide the
front standard forward off the track and get to the metal locking tabs
underneath. These tabs can be ground down with a high quality rotary file on
a Dremel tool. It is tough going because they are made of a stainless
material. What you are doing is allowing the front standard to "skew" when
remounted on the focusing track (Leave one infinity stop up and one folded
down) You can only get about 1/8 inch of skew but with shorter focal length
lenses this is mostly adequate. Also, the "backward" tilt of the lens
standard becomes a "forward" tilt when the camera is hung upside down from a
tripod which allows for this!
