I'm using Verito lenses at f/4 for the diffusion effect outdoors and have settled on ISO 400 HP5 for the emulsion since it is available in both 5x7 & 11x14 formats. The use of a 3.00 ND filter gets me into a range I can manage with that old Studio shutter. May take up collodian plates soon...
