Hello all, I have a very beat up Ensign Popular large format reflex camera. It's pretty far gone with very bad leather, ruined fp shutter mechanism, and no lens. I'm thinking of removing the fp shutter, and putting a press shutter on it with a old 150 symmar I have. I want to remove the old leather and refinish it as a wooden camera. What recommendations do you have for removing old leather from wood bodied cameras like this one?
