Hi Michael,

Camino is compatible with Template/Tiles. Using Camino should not hinder the use of Tiles/Template and vice versa.

However, visual manipulation of Tiles is not yet supported. i.e. Camino won't show the (tiles-inclusion) relationship between the JSPs on the Storyboard and you won't be able to manipulate the relationship on the Storyboard.

That means you have to edit the tiles relationship outside Camino. But Camino's visual manipulation of the usual Struts process flow/navigation (i.e. form-to-actions, ActionForwards and <html:link>), code generation and JSP conversion will function as usual.

In short, All the facilities, including management of process flows, provided by Camino are still available and should help you significantly.

p.s. Visual manipulation of both Tiles and server-side inclusion is planned for the next version.

I'm a newbie to Camino, so please forgive my ignorance:

I'm planning to use Struts and Camino to help me organize my JSP page templates and page flow. One of the available modules that helps the template mechanism is Tiles. I would like to use Camino to organize my actions and manage the process flow, however I have concerns whether or not it might make things more difficult for me if I am trying to use Tiles as the underlying template mechanism.

Any input or suggestions are welcome.

Best,

Michael
