Hmmmm... I've never built static before. I always build normal non-debug, sorry.

Here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet... encountered both times I've attempted to build in the last week (most recently last night). both times with clean trees. I've built Mozilla plenty of times in the past, but this is my first attempt at building Camino.

So I followed the build instructions to build a static-non-debug build using camino.mk

A few hours into the build it fails at:

make[4]: Leaving directory `/Volumes/pnhFWTwo/caminotree/mozilla/xpfe/bootstrap'
make[3]: Leaving directory `/Volumes/pnhFWTwo/caminotree/mozilla'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/Volumes/pnhFWTwo/caminotree/mozilla'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/Volumes/pnhFWTwo/caminotree/mozilla'
cd `make -f client.mk echo_objdir` && \
make -C embedding/config && \
CONFIG_FILES=camino/Makefile ./config.status && \
make -C camino
/bin/sh: cd: make[1]:: No such file or directory
make: *** [build] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `/Volumes/pnhFWTwo/caminotree/mozilla'

It looks like mozilla.app got built (runs ok although it has some ui/menu issues), but there's not yet a mozilla/camino/build/ > directory.

I'm gonna poke around client.mk a bit later today, but i haven't had time to just yet
