[Camino] intermittent keychain autofill, help?

Camino will autofill some sites, and not others. It always asks for and 
records the passwords into keychain, sometimes over and over. Some 
items in my keychain have Camino as the application 4 or 5 times in a 
row, but still , will not autofill that site.
  Does anyone know if it is safe to delete my original keychain and 
just start from scratch with a new empty keychain? I've already tried 
dumping the Camino prefs several times.
