I see two problems here --

1) that current Camino builds apparently require Panther -- and yeah, that oughta get fixed. It's one thing to drop support for earlier than 10.2, but a bit premature to drop support for earlier than 10.3

2) You can't run Panther on your Wallstreet. Watch the progress on XPostFacto [http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/], which should enable Wallstreet PBs to run Panther. I'm writing this from a 7500 (w/ G3 card) running 10.2.8 courtesy of XPostFacto. Basically, XPostFacto is a bootstrap loader that gets around all the checks that keep the OS X install CD from running on unsupported machines, and provides missing device drivers to support the older gear. I'm expecting the XPostFacto support for Panther to roll out any day now.

These builds DO NOT run under, 10.2.x this needs to be sorted and soon. I converted to Camino when Safari showed itself to be very slow on broadband and have been downloading each nightly build as it was released up to 10/27. We need this fixed,I can't run "Panther" on my Wallstreet and I can't afford to upgrade my machine-THIS IS VITAL! Or do I use Firebird instead? _______________________________________________ Camino mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/camino
