Who said so? I'll prefer to watch current development, and try to have some influence on it, rather to be suprised with next milestone. But i belive, that i can expres my doubt about further development.

Acting like it's the end of the world, all development is messed up and the product has no focus when features are implemented, then refined to the best out of the box set, which you don't happen to use, is not constructive.

Sorry for long post. I PROMISE, last one :)

Ok, camino have freat feature set, that's why i use it. But much of this features is let's say in some half-way implementation. Like this crazy favicons. There is bugreport asking to make it possible to switch off via UI. Mike said, because of startup-speed. It's development stage, i belive that everyone for example spent LOOOOOONG minutes in front of camino and looking SRBOD (rainbow beachball) on history... it's fortunatly away... So then some 10 seconds in startup of program is nearly nothing, isn't it?

So, everythink what i wanted to say, is to see bright future. I did some small development as a project manager and because of this i realy would like to see, what we can expect from next milestone and in final version, from features (and i think that there is quite enough mew features) to which bugs will be erased. Or such a development plan is not existing at all?

And of course, it's necesary to make "dirty work". It's nice, if we have easy searching in Google, but i realy would like to see better history menu. For searching, i can use some extra programs (which i use currently, because this quite nice feature is quite hard to configure in way which i like - it' so hard to make some UI?? we are not nerds, we are users), but there is no replacement for history menu in Camino, is there? We don't need bells and whistles, we need usability.

I'm little bit affraid, that even open source is influenced with comercial software plague. Next BIG version. If we will not have enough NEW POLISHED features, users will not recognize it. If my memory is not so bad, that was fear, which expresed Mike. so that's why we (or better to say other users) must to wait more than half of year for next version. Do you remember, how often there was milestones before? My opinion is completly different - if you can't make sure, that you will be able to moove along this path, make small steps. Squash bugs, make small improvments, but quite often. Otherwise, you can have cool features in nigtlies, but your product will fall in dust...

Ok, that's enough. I'm little bit sad, that it's taken as a attack against Camino. It's not so. I like this browser and i like to see it better and easier to use, that it can compete with Safari not in technical terms, but for users. If i'll not like camino, i'll use Safari for last 11 months. So please take it little bit more realistic. I'm trying to make waves and start some discusion about this project, but seems, that except some angry or personaly taken answers (see Mike's blog), no one is interested. Ok, i'll try to help in same way like until now, i'll fill bugs and vote for important bugs and i'll see, where will Camino moove. If i'll see, that it's not anymore broser of my choice, i'll use different one and i'll know, that i did everything, what i can. Chimera will stay in my memories, like a first Mac browser, which realy don't suck :)
