The 2 main parties are who thinks it's all about the sysadmins, and who thinks CAmino, like other browsers, should sniff content and override MIME types sent by the server. I am a bit undecided, regarding binaries like disk images, but I tend to support the first option (wake up, lazy admin!) if common text files aren't served like they should.
At first I was one of the "it's up to the sysadmins." But I have re-thought that position and now very much favor the concept of having Camino "do the right thing" by itself. The problem is becoming more and more widespread and "competing browsers" are more and more special casing such things. We need to do that in Camino itself.
