Geeze, the more I see, the less I know! So the functionality is already there... dare I suggest that the UI could stand some modification? Full sized images have the hand by default. Pressing option brings the "less than" magnifying glass. Quicker, faster, better. Also MUCH easier to discover while keeping with the sort of "norm" of using the option key to shrink.
