I've seen this on an educational site that I use (Sitescape forum, http://ssf.indiana.edu/franks/). The frames render, but then some of them go black. If I do a select all though, the text reappears.

I've also seen this problem with Safari (1.1.1/v100.1), except there, the frame doesn't render at all (even for a second and then disappear), and no amount of clicking, selecting, etc can bring it back.

However, there is one frame (the upper-right one), that ALWAYS renders, and stays rendered, in both browsers.

I wonder if this could have something to do with how window backing or low-level rendering works in Panther?
