I agree that it would nice to be able to customize the search site popup menu. My suggestion would be to add an item to the leftmost column in the bookmark manager that holds URLs for search sites and which would be mirrored in the Search field's popup menu.

Another thing to keep in mind... because the search pop up file is included in the Camino package, updating to a newer version will essentially reset it back to the default. One of CaminoKnight's better features is that it has a mechanism for replacing files inside the package! I also use a download window nib that makes it smaller than the default, so that is another item I would normally have to manually replace with each new nightly. But both of them get copied to the "newer" version of Camino using CaminoKnight automatically.
