I just got Camino up and running, it is great, better than my expectation. it does so much more Mac shortcut and preferences better than firebird. what a nice piece of software. this is actually what I am looking for !
btw, can I change the bookmark window sliding out from the left instead of right? I am not very used to it. pls advise.

Welcome aboard! In brief, the main differences between Camino and Firebird are that Camino is built native to Mac OS X from the ground up in the Cocoa programming language, whereas FB is cross-platform and is a carbonized port from Windows and Linux. FB is certainly good, about as fast as Camino, etc. and there are few features that Camino has that Firebird does not have. However, Camino is optimized for OS X, is Mac-only, uses the Mac GUI, and is not prone to feature creep the way that Mozilla and Firebird are. I’m sure others can add to this.
Happy holidays!

hi,
I am very new to Mac, just got my 15" powerbook last week. all the
while, I have been using mozilla and firebird lately.
anyway, a quick check, what is the difference between firebird Mac
OSX port and this Camino in terms of stability and features?
of course, I will be very keen to look at camino
