He's doing exactly what his checkin says he's doing. There is no reason why Firebird shouldn't access Cocoa when its compiled for Mac OS X. Good news I suppose because this means Firebird will be nicer on Mac OS X, and more people might pay attention to Mozilla's cocoa widget code (which we would benefit from). I don't know exactly what their plans are for Cocoa in Firebird though.
