I will upgrade GoLive at some point and maybe that will help and I'll explore some of the
options you mentioned. Damn it, are you really gonna make me work with the actual code. I've become
quite fond of my crappy piece of software.
Don't take any of this as a personal dig. I'm not damning you, I'm damning the tool. Golive /should/ create valid code out of the box, without any intervention from the designer.

The top menu bar has a jump menu that works in Camino just fine. I'm convinced that there's something in the code on your page that's causing the problem, but as Joshua just pointed out to me, allowing popup windows does enable the jump menu on your page to work, so there could be relief in a patch at some point.
