Could not be done by habing 2 NSView in a tab : one for the loadedView and one for the page we want to load. Then just have to increase/decrease alphaValue of NSView ?
Sure but it would only slow us down at this point.
And the feature could be turned off by default, so it wouldn't slow anything down, except for those users who are willing to forgo a little speed for some eye candy.
Or were you talking about development time?
