It's a known issue. See bug 156583: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156583
As for the build ID, the identifier string has to be set with environment variables, I believe, in order to show anything but 0's.

I'm using 0.8b (2004051715) with 10.3.4 (I can confirm that the 'window flashing' bug is gone on another site, so it isn't that), and am seeing odd scrolling behavior on this website

it seems to have to do with the positioning of the QT movie on top of the other HTML. I tried to look at the source using cmd-opt-V, but the QT movie (the first one on displayed) *even displays over the source tab*! (That's weird)
I haven't checked this off a build I pulled just yesterday and the problem still occurs, including the display of the QT over other tab in the same window (version string "0000000000 (v0.8+)" which is a bit odd - I followed the usual build instructions, though didn't clear out my 0.7 build before starting the new one with make -w -f camino.mk - could that be responsible?)
Any ideas? I can post screenshots if people can't replicate this (I should automate that process..)
