Stuart,
Since Camino has reached a point of great stability with its milestones, the developers intend to maintain that high quality for all point releases including 0.9 and 1.0. Thus, it takes a long time, given the available resources, to reach this level of stability with all the new features being added and changes being made.
It is quite likely that you can use one of the latest nightly builds without issues as long as you backup your profile. Although the stability of the nightly builds vary, many of us (including myself) tend to use these because in all honesty, Camino has already come a very long way from 0.8.2.
Back up your profile and try one of the latest builds and you will see what I mean. Note that, none of the features you mention are built-in to the latest nightlies. Autofill and spellcheck are still being worked on. As far as I'm aware there is no themeing support being discussed. If you would like to skin your Mac OS X apps, try http://unsanity.com/haxies/shapeshifter.

It seems to me that Camino has been stuck at 0.82 for some time now, and I'm just wondering if it is still under development. I really do prefer it to both Safari and Firefox as its much faster but it's a little lacking on the features side of things. For a start there is no autofill forms, no spellchecking, and no theme support. Are any of these things on the list of things to be added to Camino? When will there be a 1.0 release?
Thanks, Stuart
