I also noticed, which using an "non-optimized" nightly, that there was an enormous amount of "Spinning-Ball-Of-Death" activity while accessing pages (6 or 7 open), especially when opening new links - it would render a page, and then spin for a while, then go on. Although, my system had been up for 7 days (with Camino open most of that), so may have been somewhat unstable, and I have an unGodly number of bookmarks (in the menu and the hidden button bar), which might contribute to the window class recalculating something related to the bookmark bar object (or just instantiating it each time - is the image (or maybe a nib structure of some kind of the bar cached from one instantiation to the next by the class?)
I'll be going back to official nightlies, as the optimized one I'm using now has some VERY strange rendering errors (an image will load and overlap other elements, tables won't completely redraw as they are forced to get longer, buttons will be appear in two places at once.. This is on system 10.3.8)
