I was mistaken. (The results, the same size as before the upshift in size,
violated the Principle of Least Astonishment :-(

Keep in mind that site developers can easily have a completely different style sheet for printing, so preserving setting changes that you made based on the screen style sheet wouldn't necessarily make sense. What if the screen version had 12pt text, and the print version 14pt, and you bumped it up? Should it be 14, as it would now, or 16, as it would if enlarged fonts were persisted?
