Is it true that all javascript "interpretation" comes from the Mozilla

Yes. It should not have, but I know at least one bug that has some impacts.

If so, could we get a short "nightlies are being built from the Mozilla
 1.8 trunk as of now?"

They are. All nightlies are being build from the Trunk. (and there is no
1.8 trunk, there is a (one) trunk, and some branches - we are close to
the opening of branch 1.8)

Thanks Ludovic, I think I goofed up "trunk" and "branch." I asked because the a2 "release" broke a critical javascript function for me (working with my bank site, CitiBank NYC) in that I could no longer pay a bill. a1 worked fine. I was trying to see if this was a Camino or Mozilla issue.

Could it be that a new build from the trunk, while carrying the same trunk version, might affect such an issue? Is it true that all nightlies from a2 onward use the same version of the trunk (even though builds might be newer)?
