Then you've probably uncovered a bug. However, "bitching" about bugs
here aren't gonna help anyone. First, make a note of which sites is
giving you problems, then head over to bugzilla.mozilla.org and file a
bug. Make a through search though, and include Firefox and core bugs. If
you find an existing bug, add yourself to the cc-list (so you can be
updated when something happens) and add any information that may be
missing.

Since you're able to write, I'll assume you also can read ;-) Learnig
the basics isn't that hard, some examples can be found here

Macusers ;-)

The problem is that your suggestion (having a lot of site-specific
options in the preferences) isn't any easier for the "my mother"-users
:-( Making sure the minimum font-size always works, and maybe giving
this a decent default value (10? 12?) is probably the best we can do.
