Hi, just joined the mailing list. I've recently made Camino my browser of
choice after... a) Firefox hogging too much memory, though it's still my #2
choice, b) Shiira being too crashtastic, even in its latest version, c)
Opera would just never work for me and d) Safari being good but crashing a
bit too much too.
So here I am. There's not much I don't like about Camino but there is
something I find niggling. The tool tips in Bookmarks. Usually, tool tips
seem to come up only when a full title or address doesn't fit on the screen,
so that's a handy feature. In Camino Bookmarks though, every time you move
the mouse, you get the tool tip covering up part of another bookmark, or
just the constant tool tip after tool tip after tool tip when trying to
negotiate the screen. This makes it just a tad annoying for me at least, as
they're serving no real function other than just showing me what's already
there, and blocking other bookmarks at the same time.
Can the tool tips be turned off somehow? (Either on one's own machine or in
a later version of Camino) Just one of those little things that gets
frustrating after a while. Thanks for any assistance or thoughts. (I
looked back a few months to make sure this subject hadn't been raised; hope
I didn't miss it).
