I finally succeeded in getting a good bud to use Camino over Safari. We did have a confusion, partly over the terms that are bandied about. It started out when he said "Oh i can't use it, it doesn't do auto-fill." Thereby ensued a "yes it does," no it doesn't" conversation. Turns out he should have said "auto-complete."

Except, we got hung there again. I'm thinking "auto-complete" means completing URLs... turns out there is another 'auto-complete." One that Camino definitely does not have and Safari does. This version refers to "completing" any text entry field on a web page. It seems to be a well fleshed out feature that will present a list of multiple entries based on the letters you have already typed.

I may be mistaken, but I don't remember any discussion about auto complete in text entry fields; has there been any discussion in the dev circles? Certainly seems like a very useful feature to me...
