(If this isn't the right spot for this, I apologize ... it seemed OK, based on the description of the list on the Camino site.)

I use Camino as my main browser. One of the things that has made it a more-capable replacement for Safari and Firefox is the Cami Tools extension, which used to be available here:

  http://www.nadamac.de/index.php

As you can see, it is no longer available, and development has ceased. (You can still get it from pimpmycamino.com.) My question the Camino developers is this: are there any plans to roll some (or preferably nearly all) of CamiTools functionality into the browser? In particular, I'm quite hooked on immediate type & find, auto- completion, 'ignore autocomplete,' control over GIF animation, and the nice ad- and Flash-block features.

For now, the plug-in still works fine, but I expect it will break with future Camino updates ... and that will be a sad day, as I'll find it very difficult to work without the tools I've become accustomed to using.

If I had any coding skills, I'd write the author and offer to take over the project, but alas, I'm but a mere user...

thanks;
-rob.
