Are you updating to the latest nightly build all the time? Sometimes
nightly builds have issues that corrupt preferences or downright
delete them altogether. That might be the issue, so if you do so, you
might want to back up your profile (~/Library/Application Support/
Camino) on a regular basis.
If you don't, then I'm sorry, but I have no idea what the problem is.
