Are you running Firefox in Rosetta?

The PDF Browser plugin unfortunately is PPC only, no word on an Intel-compatible release.

How come does it work with Firefox then? (I am sure it's the PDF Browser plugin that did the job and not the Apple built-in facility that works with Safari, because I was prompted for the type of use, business, personal or educational).

Hmm, I dunno, IMHO, it's better to load PDFs externally (Preview, Acrobat), rather than inside the browser. I unfortunately don't remember where you set that option, but I'm sure someone could lend a hand. Or disagree with me.

Well, I think this feature is worthwhile in order to have a quick look to a file that you don't necessarily want to download to your disk. If you find the document useful, you can still download it to disk and view it in Acrobat or Preview afterwards.

If you still want to get them to load in the browser, please provide more info about the problem, i.e., do you get an error, describe the browser behavior when you click on a pdf, etc.

The file gets downloaded rather than being displayed in the browser.
Additional info: it works nicely with Firefox.

Gérard

Hi,
I can't get PDF files displayed, even though I installed the PDF Browser Plugin in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins. Seems that the Plugin is not recognized (doesn't appear in the installed plugins)
Platform: MacBook Pro (Intel)
System: 10.4.7
Camino version: 1.0.2 multilingual
Any idea about the source of the problem and whether it can be fixed?
