For me, that was a conflict with Windows Media player. The newest version of Camino, plus not allowing Windows Media files to play inside a browser page, ie forcing them to play in a separate window (like a QuickTime window in the case of Flip4Mac) solved the problem.
The Redmond colossus has officially ended support for playing such files on a Mac. So you should cease using any of their software. Flip4Mac has stepped up to the plate (and I believe are tacitly endorsed by "them"). My experience is that when a .wmv file is embedded in a browser page with other content, it will play in Camino, but the "rest of the page" is thrown totally out of whack. This behavior does NOT happen in Safari.
It's only a guess, but it seems Flip4Mac is, like a lot of web pages, pretty much aimed at not doing this in Safari, to the exclusion of other browsers mac users like to use. The curious thing is this same kind of thing we ALWAYS rag on many websites, that they aim their content on one and only one browser.
To me, the right question at this point is has Pink and/or others had conversations with the programmers at Flip4Mac.
