Thanks Stuart, I kinda figured you guys to have offshore banking
accounts to keep track of the billions you make off Camino <g>.

I tried removing the CamiTools prefpane (yes, any fooling around is
done with Camino not running), no effect. No difference.

Removed my ~/Library/Application Support/Camino folder and let it
create an entirely new one (something I would NOT want to do as over
the years I have a lot of cookies and stuff in there). No change at
all, it still does not render correctly.

I then went back to my old profile and used CamiTools to spoof
Firefox 1.5... still no go.

So to be creative, another fresh profile, use CamiTools to change
user agent to Safari 2, remove CamiTools, re-launch Camino... STILL
no go.

FYI, the line CamiTools added to prefs.js is:

user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U;
PPC Mac OS X; de-de) AppleWebKit/412.6 (KHTML, like Gecko)
Safari/412.2");

sure LOOKS OK. Going back to the mostly fresh profile, I again
changed user agent to:

user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U;
PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5");

and again removed CamiTools and tried again... and the winner is... not Camino!

Depressed and dejected, I then jumped off my 10th floor terrace to
the concrete below. Just my luck, Claire the Cheerleader came by and
lent me her healing powers. Once all my bones realigned, I got the
notion CamiTools just may not be putting in the right user agent, so
I went and got User Agent prefpane.

BINGO, even with my old profile AND CamiTools in there, Firefox 2
user agent works! Not content, I switched it to Safari. Arghhh, it
does NOT render correctly there. OK, so set it back to Firefox.
Ooops, now THAT isn't working. I play around with resetting user
agents, but I can NOT seem to get it to render correctly when set to
Firefox 2, even though it did for exactly one attempt.

Wasted most of the day already, why not waste some more time? Tried
setting various other user agents. Did see a page from them that I
had seen so many times I forgot about it... that they work with
Firefox, Netscape, and Safari, but not what I'm using. Always saw
that page in Camino, but I ignored it because 103 just worked. I
discover once more that switching to Firefox DOES render correctly.
BUT, with changing nothing at all, quit and re-launch Camino and now
it's back to misbehaving. Obviously, it something OTHER than just
changing the user agent string.

Only conclusion I can make is that something is wrong inside Camino,
no matter how one slices it. And that IS a shame, I already have to
use Safari for some sites that use streaming video that is rendered
by flip4mac as Camino makes a mess out of the pages containing the
embedded video, now I have to use it for banking...
