I was idly following a news article link from news.google today. The
page loading has a lot of "Flash" advertising as well as one or two Pop-Ups.

The article, FWIW, was:
"US reaches free-trade accord with South Korea"

I searched through some Camino sites and found a reference to
"FlashBlock" here, under " Expandability"

quoting a portion  :
"You could also give FlashBlock a try, this neat little plugin gives you
control"
