This is the classic response. There's no need to be defensive. I had hoped you'd recognize the Lo! Fire and Brimstone! as tongue in cheek. In any case, I WOULD fix it. However, I really dislike the hackish development tools requirements; I refuse to downgrade my system. > It would be helpful if you spent a little bit of time looking at the > known issues and feature requests in bugzilla before sending emails > to this list, since reporting bugs that we already know about isn't a > good use of your time or ours. Well, you're right, but most bug reports are pretty crappy, and my search didn't pull up anything that was immediately obvious. On the other hand, this is a kind of forum to arouse discussion. It's not like I have sent an email every hour on this subject. Perhaps if someone knowledgeable, who hasn't had the opportunity to sift through spurious reports, knows that this can be quickly fixed, he can do so; then we may all prosper. Hmmm... my initial email was 3 lines (2 of which were unnecessary). NOW I've wasted my time (and yours); if you know something is already a problem, then drop a one-liner and leave it at that! BTW, I hope this emails doesn't come off as catty; thanks for your response. _______________________________________________ Camino mailing list [email protected] http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/camino
