Erlang/OTP used to be a lot like OCaml. Development was done internally at Ericsson and official releases were done from time to time.
This year the OTP team uploaded the code to Github and started syncing their internal code frequently. Reviewing and discussing patches become much quicker and many more contributions are making it into official releases. Now, I don't know if this is a result of the Github making collaboration easier or a more open attitude on the part of the Ericsson team. I do know that it works, though. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - for hire: mac osx device driver ninja, kernel extensions and usb drivers ---------------------+------------+--------------------------------------- http://wagerlabs.com | @wagerlabs | http://www.linkedin.com/in/joelreymont ---------------------+------------+--------------------------------------- -- Caml-list mailing list.
