Ha! We evacuated to Winter Haven (central FL) where my mom lives, and the eye passed not 10 miles from us. It was very intense. Dumb storm turned course after half a million people evacuated the Tampa Bay area. So most of us who didn't stay home were MORE in the path than if we'd stayed home. A small cherry tree fell on my van, and lots and lots of trees, signs and fences were down. My mom is still without power 48 hours later. All in all we were lucky. Thanks for checking on me! Heather
