* Today's Best Buy: Sony LCD WEGA KLV-21SG2

With a 4:3 aspect ratio, Sony's 21-inch LCD TV is particularly good at
displaying standard television. And in addition to excellent image

speakers mounted on each side of the display.

The 21SG2 has a respectable assortment of input and output options,

* Secure IE: Browse Safer and Faster *
Stop Hackers in Their Tracks! Today, spyware and hacker attacks are as
common as viruses and are causing severe damage to consumers. Once on
your machine these intruders can gain access to your personal data,
such as your credit card information, passwords and financial
information. Secure IE protects your computer at the main point of
external contact--your Web browser--and tightly restricts what Web
sites can and cannot do to you. It stops spyware at the point of
entry, blocks hackers from entering your PC and seals potential
security leaks.

Special to PC World:

PC World has teamed up with Lockergnome.com,
http://pcwnl.pcworld.com/t/193629/21421672/73/0/ to bring you even more great
downloads!
Each Monday, we will feature downloads hand-picked by Chris Pirillo,
editor of Lockergnome.com.

This week's Lockergnome.com picks:

3D Screensaver - The Earth Is Our Homeland [1.44 M] Win9x/2k/XP FREE
Many of us have had lifelong dreams of being an astronaut. The whole
experience of viewing our Earth from space is one thing that has
fascinated mankind for many years. What if I told you that you could
view Earth from space for free? OK, it may just be a free screensaver,
but you have to take what you can get. What am I - Paul Allen? The
Earth Is Our Homeland is a free screensaver for the non-gravity type.
The graphics are pretty decent for a screensaver. A few interesting
facts about the Earth are also included with the download. You'll
probably want to turn the sound off due to the lullaby type of music
that you are subjected to. Just as I was thinking that the music would
put people to sleep, the sound of an individual snoring blared through
my speakers. Goodnight, everybody!

FileAsoc [320K] Win9x/2k/XP FREE
Have you recently asked your file associations how they're doing? So
many of the programs that we download today try to take over our
associations, and this can be very aggravating. Sometimes when you
uninstall certain applications, the associations are completely lost,
with nowhere to turn. I'm sure that most of us have had to deal with
confused file associations at one time or another. To regain some
control, check out FileAsoc. This program allows you to examine and
edit the registry settings that tell Windows how to open your
programs. As you can probably imagine, you should be very careful
while using this program. You can create new associations, and repair
corrupted ones. You may also add new right-click menu items, and
change the icon displayed in Explorer. Some good information about the
registry and how Windows opens files is included to give you some
basic understanding about what you're doing. Those of you who get a
thrill out of customizing your machine will enjoy FileAsoc.

CryptoExpert 2004 Lite allows you to create a virtual drive and use it
to securely store documents, images, or any other files. The content

however, it is encrypted on-the-fly and only accessible if the user
has logged in. Additional features include integrated e-mailing of
files, secure file deletion, auto or hotkey dismount, and more. The
program uses 128-bit CAST encryption, and the free version is limited
