I am 32 wks along now (as of yesterday) and had my midwife appt today with Ann. The baby (well, my uterus/fundal height) is measuring 34weeks and he is head down!! Blood pressure and everything else looks good (including my iron level taken a few weeks ago). So far everything is on track for my *natural birth*!! Yeah!! I am 17lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight (which she said is a little under where I should be but not a big deal....she just wants me to make sure I am eating some high calorie *quality* foods). She wants me to start coming in every 2 weeks already!!! Wow!
Next appt is with Denise.....I will be switching between the 2 midwives from this point on since its guaranteed that one of them will be delivering the baby in the hospital and I want them to both be as familiar with Darrell and I as possible (Ann delivered Sierra and I have seen her most of this pregnancy, so I kinda hope I get her). Its so nice not having to worry about getting an on-call Dr like I had with Justin. Wow, its getting close! Exciting! But I am not ready!!!!!! I haven't gone through even one box of old baby clothes yet, haven't picked out a name, haven't decided/agreed on the circumcision issue, haven't gone browsing any baby sections at the stores to see what is out there right now, haven't had my baby shower (waiting for that before I go do any actual shopping), don't have a room for the baby because we can't find a house that we love (luckily he will be co-sleeping with me and/or in a bassinette in our room, but still...).
