Hoping to gain an edge in the crowded WLAN switch space,
3Com sought a powerful partner rather than introduce a
wireless add-on for its own Ethernet switches. Its choice
was Trapeze Networks, but there's more to this story than
the reseller agreement alone. Find out.

3. News: RIM Introduces New Connectivity Options

4. News: Sun, Sybase, IBM Tackle RFID

Sun Microsystems, IBM and Sybase are each developing

4. News: Integrated Device Could Ease RFID Processing

One of the most significant stumbling blocks with
full-fledged RFID retail efforts has been supplier
compliance. Schneider Electric is offering a way for
suppliers to more seamlessly integrate RFID capabilities
into existing equipment, which could lessen the supplier
burden and possibly accelerate and broaden RFID adoption.
