Recipe of the Day From Our Readers: Beef Birmingham 1 clove garlic, minced 1 lb. beef for stew, cut into thin strips 1 c. onion, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 2 T. cooking oil 2 T. creamy peanut butter 2 T. soy sauce 1/2 t. sugar 1 c. beef bouillon Dash of pepper Hot cooked rice or noodles Saut� garlic, beef, onions and celery in hot oil until lightly browned. Add peanut butter, soy sauce, beef bouillon and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Add additional liquid during cooking, if necessary. Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles. Shred cheese of any kind you like on top and melt and they are so good! Have had this recipe for over 30 yrs. I don't know about Red Lobster, but these are good/rich and enjoy!
